First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at IBMC College.
Senior Researcher
It started with a Pyometrics assessment, then an oral interview and a discussion with other researchers about my current work and future projects. There were also technical questions about my research topic, and an in-depth assessment of that topic.
- What makes you want to do research?
- What led you to pursue research?
Student Services Coordinator
Applied through careerbuilder and got a call about a week later for a phone interview. Then I had an in-person interview scheduled for the following week, but unfortunately, I wasn't selected for the job. The hiring staff was very friendly and softspoken, making for a cool interview.
- Why do you feel this role is a perfect fit for you?
Career Service Coordinator
First call was a bit different, on the phone, asking what I thought of the job and if I wanted to work there. Then there was a group info session with 5 other candidates, which went for about an hour and a half.
- Why should we hire you over others, especially when answering questions with others in the room?
- What are your thoughts on the job?
- Are you interested in working with us?
Front Desk Receptionist
I had a face-to-face meeting at their office. We sat and talked, and I answered questions. I also got a tour of the place. We talked a bit more. It was a pleasant interview, and the people were nice. The place seemed busy. I couldn't start there though because I got another offer.
- What is your motivation for wanting to work at this company?
