So there were 2 tech rounds. The first one was 30 minutes. The second one was supposed to be an hour but it was shorter. The second round was a bit different than usual. It was 20 mins of coding and then the rest was discussion. They asked me open ended questions about my opinion on coding practices and "inputs". It felt like they were satisfied with my skills based on their reaction, but I didn't get an offer.

I applied via LinkedIn and then had a brief introductory call to set up a Teams meeting. In the meeting, we talked a lot about the company and how it's grown through acquisitions. After that, we went over the job description, and I realized it wasn't a good fit for me.

Behavioral Technical

I submitted my resume in person at the office. I was called in for an initial interview with a manager and a supervisor. They were very nice and asked standard interview questions. Then I was interviewed again by another manager who was also very nice. I was called for a 3rd interview on a later day with the VP. That was maybe the hardest part. I was asked very technical questions and since it was my first telecoms job I think it wasn't so great. I thought i had lost the opportunity after the interview but i was later told that the VP was impressed. I guess my personality and honesty took me through.

Technical Behavioral

It was a short and easy interview process. They didn't seem to focus on very technical aspects. The main areas they explored were data warehousing concepts and my previous experience. They were also interested in the coursework I was undertaking. Having Oracle DW experience was a plus, though I didn't have it.

  • Can you discuss your background in data warehousing?
  • Could you explain various data modeling types and schemas?
  • What courses have you been taking?
