First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at iBASEt.
Senior Software Engineer
First round was a face-to-face with Sr. or principal Engineers focusing on Java basics, past projects, and MES domain experience. Second round was a face-to-face with the Project Manager. Third round was a practical assessment. Fourth round was a face-to-face with the CTO. Fifth round was an HR discussion.
- What are the basic to advanced level concepts in Java?
Human Resources
HR reached out and wanted to schedule a phone interview. I provided my availability, but they really pushed for a same-day call (when I replied to their email). There was a lot of back and forth via email to avoid setting up a scheduled call. Since I had some free time, I decided to go for it. They did call a bit later than the scheduled time. The HR person did most of the talking during a brief phone interview.
- Can you tell me about some basic phone interview questions, were they easy?
Information Technology
It was a really chill interview process. Two interviews happened and they were great. Super friendly vibe. Honestly, couldn't ask for an easier interview experience. All interviews should really be this laid-back. Like, I mentioned it was friendly, you probably get the idea by now.
- What made you decide to apply to our company?
Javascript Developer
I had 2 interview rounds for this role. First was a telephonic technical interview, and the second was a personal technical interview. The questions were pretty good for a Javascript Developer and ReactJs Developer role. The HR part was also telephonic since the talent acquisition team works remotely. The timing for the HR round was a bit odd because of the timezone difference.
- Can you explain what a Frag.Component is in React?
