I went in for an in-person interview. I was there for about an hour being interviewed. After that, they totally ghosted me. I tried following up about the job, but still nothing.

Behavioral Technical Other

I spoke with the Project Manager and Program Manager. They went over the job duties more thoroughly and gave me some background on the company. Then, they took turns asking me questions. The questions were pretty standard, nothing I wasn't expecting. They were both really nice, which helped me relax. They mentioned that HR was going through some changes, so it might take a bit to hear back. I sent both of them thank you emails the next morning, but I didn't get a reply and never heard anything.

Behavioral Other

I interviewed with two different teams at IACP for Project Coordinator roles since there were openings on each. It was a typical interview focused on my past experience and how my previous job duties lined up with the role I was applying for. The salary was much lower than my current one, which I knew before going in, but I really wanted to join this organization. A strange question they asked was if I could 'handle' the pay difference.

  • What motivates you to seek employment within law enforcement?
  • Are you prepared to accept a lower salary than your current earnings?
