It was a great process overall and a positive experience. It was very informative and insightful into the job positions and the company. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for work.

I talked to the recruiter I applied to and then I met with the owner, Teresa. I thought everything went great and I was excited about potentially joining the team. Then I got feedback and apparently Teresa thought I was cocky and arrogant after meeting with her. I was shocked because that's not how I've ever been described. I asked for more details, and she said she interpreted me saying, "I'm really glad I started working at blank company because they are a top notch organization and their training was superb." as me saying "I'm the best recruiter on the planet, brace yourself." I was really taken aback by her assumption, and if she could assume that, then it's probably not a company I'd want to work for with her in charge. Also, her LinkedIn photo looked like a 1990s glamour shot.

They started with a resume review, then an HR person called to ask basic stuff like if I'm currently employed, what my last pay was, and my availability for an interview. They also asked some generic questions about my resume. After that, I had a phone interview where they asked similar questions but wanted more details about specific experiences. The final interview was in person with two people who seemed to have no idea about the job or the required skills.

I had a 1 hour team interview with a Partner. It was a chance for me to show my technical skills, how I work with others, and how I solve problems. I also wanted to show how my past work fit with what the team wants to do and how I can help them succeed.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you tell me about object-oriented concepts and your experience with them?
