I sent my email to an address I found on their website and heard back a few days later to set up an in-person interview. I met with senior staff, including my direct manager, and we talked about the job's requirements.

First, I met with my potential manager and their key person in a casual lunch setting. After that initial meeting, I moved on to a more formal interview where I met with my potential manager again, along with several of the firm's principals. The whole experience was efficient, respectful, and honest. I felt comfortable asking direct questions and received clear answers.

The interview started with personal questions to get to know you better. Then it moved on to discuss what the job involves and the qualities they're looking for. They shared a lot about the company and its values. It felt more like a relaxed chat than a Q&A session, which took the pressure off and made for a really good experience overall.

The interview was virtual and relaxed. My first interview was missed by the interviewer. A Senior Engineer and the recruiter conducted the interview. They discussed the company's background and business. The questions were direct, focusing on the experience listed on my resume and the experience they are seeking. There were no open-ended or behavioral questions.
