First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hyve Solutions.
Marketing Specialist
Applied through LinkedIn and got a call for an interview the same week. Recruiter phone screen and hiring manager interview two weeks later. The second interview was scheduled 1 month later. I figured they didn't have luck finding anyone initially. The hiring manager asked basic questions about experience and didn't seem that enthusiastic about the company.
- Can you share an example of how you've boosted event attendance in the past?
Supply Chain Program Manager
Had a good first call with the recruiter, Ashley, which was super informative. Then went through 4 more interviews over Teams. Initially accepted the job but had to back out for personal health reasons. The recruiter was great to work with, very responsive. I think this role would be a good fit, so maybe down the road.
- What is your experience in supply chain operations?
- Can you describe your background in sourcing?
Software Engineer
Started with a recruiter call about location, tech stack, and OPT. Got assured twice about sponsorship. Initially, the plan was a manager round and then a 4-hour virtual loop. But after the manager round, they added a 1h 40m technical and system design round. The virtual loop had four interviews (45m-1h each) with live coding and one behavioral. Thought it was over, but then a team lead wanted an interview too, making it even longer. Two days post-interviews, recruiter said I did great and offered SDE-2, discussing start dates, locations, and benefits. I accepted. But then, two days later, they suddenly said I needed to do background verification (BGV) first. I pushed back, wanting the offer letter before sharing info, but they insisted. So, I did the BGV. After it cleared, I expected the offer, but instead, the recruiter called two days later to withdraw my application, citing no sponsorship, which they'd already confirmed twice.
- Could you design a distributed framework that can efficiently manage huge traffic from numerous servers?
- What are your thoughts on Leet Code problems of medium to hard difficulty?
- Do you have experience with multithreading?
Program Manager
I applied for the Sales Operations Program Manager position on the company careers website and was contacted by a recruiter. I scheduled a 15-minute screening call via MS Teams, but the recruiter didn't join. I messaged her, and after a few hours, she replied, explaining she had another call and asked to reschedule. I rescheduled for another morning, but the same thing happened - she never showed up for the 15 minutes. I emailed her again and got her Out of Office message. She got back to me a few hours later saying she was stuck in a meeting. I've had a terrible experience with this recruiter at Hyve Solutions. How can someone searching for talent for the company be so inadequate? This recruiter has no morals! Please follow standard practices and treat all candidates with respect!
