The whole process was pretty simple. First, I had a quick call with HR to discuss my background and why I'm interested in the job. Then, I had two virtual interviews with the hiring managers. They asked questions about teamwork, challenges, and accomplishments, as well as role-specific stuff like managing stakeholders and sourcing strategies. Overall, it was well-organized, they kept me updated, and I felt good about it the whole way through.

The interview process started with a telephonic screening, followed by a face-to-face interview at the client's premises. Since the role is for a Test Engineer, I focused my preparation heavily on testing aspects, neglecting advanced Java concepts. I managed to answer all the testing-related questions but struggled with the Java questions due to insufficient preparation.

First, an interviewer called to chat about my situation and set up the interviews. The first interview was a multi-person call where I introduced myself and explained some knowledge. They asked if I could speak Chinese for this part since some interviewers were in Australia. The second interview was a technical assessment, and this one was all in English.

HR did a phone screening. Then, HR sent a Google Meet link for the next interview. First, they asked for basic introductions and what projects I've done, basically going over my resume. After that, we moved to a technical interview. They gave me a code review, though it wasn't directly related to a SOC analyst role. I was given a script and asked to identify why it wasn't working, like asking an interviewer to solve a company issue.
