First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hypothesis.
Intern
The interview process was great, and everyone was really quick to respond and friendly. I'd give it a 10/10 experience. The whole thing was super clear, so I always knew what was coming next. I personally went through three rounds.

Project Team
The interview process was straightforward and well-organized. I had a homework task and interviewed with three people, including a director and senior leaders. Everyone was informative and welcoming. The homework task involved completing a task relevant to my day-to-day responsibilities.

Operations Team Lead
I had a really good time interviewing with Hypothesis. It took about two weeks and I went through 4 rounds. Even though it was multiple rounds, I enjoyed meeting people from the company and each round helped me learn more about the job, who I'd work with, and the company. Everyone I met was prepared and really wanted to know about my skills. Salary was discussed in my first phone screen with recruiting. Overall, it was a good experience and I got an offer!
- What makes you want to work for a market research agency?
Analyst
I applied via campus recruiting and got a response quickly to schedule an initial phone screen. That was the only time they were that responsive. The initial phone screen was rescheduled an hour after it was supposed to start. After the initial screening, I was set to talk with the Seattle team. This got rescheduled twice, both last minute. When I finally spoke with the Seattle team, they seemed indifferent and disingenuous. They didn't apologize for the reschedules or thank me for being flexible. They were upfront that the role usually goes to someone with more experience, or that people start as interns, but noted it might not be the case for me. HR contacted me about a day later. With my Master's degree and international experience, I was offered the possibility of an internship. It was a pretty frustrating experience overall.
