After applying through Gupy, I had an initial interview with the recruitment team. Two days later, I spoke with the Hiring Manager. After more than a week, almost 10 days, they gave me a positive response. A week later, I had the hiring exam and the contract became effective after two weeks. More than a month for a simple role.

The hiring process started with an initial contact via WhatsApp. Online interviews were scheduled based on mutual availability, with constant transparency about each stage. The first interview was with HR, as usual, covering the role, company, and initial salary expectations to ensure alignment. The second interview was directly with the hiring manager, involving slightly more technical questions.

I'm intrigued how companies of this size still approach candidates, go through the process for a SR level position and simply disappear, not having the decency to reply to a message saying "thank you, but we chose other candidates", "thank you, but we canceled the position". The level of "juniorization" that Talent Acquisition areas have reached in Brazil is ridiculous. Lamentable.

I applied for a position on the company's website and about 15 days later someone contacted me on WhatsApp asking about my availability and we scheduled an initial video interview with HR + the hiring managers. It was a very relaxed conversation about my experiences and an explanation of the role. The 2nd interview involved solving a case study, where I had 10 minutes to develop the solution while the managers watched (all via video call on Teams). The case study wasn't structured at all, it was extremely shallow and outside the scope of what the job required. After that, they said they would get in touch regardless of whether the outcome was positive or negative... This was months ago and I never heard back. The last message I sent to the recruiter (2 months ago) still hasn't been read.
