The process included a phone screen where I talked about the Biden Chips Act and impressed the recruiter. Then, I met with the hiring manager, but they didn't seem to have many questions prepared and the conversation felt a bit unstructured. I wish it had been more organized.

This company is a huge waste of time. They require your first and last check stub from every previous employer, but don't tell you this until after you've already given them your bank routing number and SSN. You only have 24 hours to provide this info. They also make you take two drug tests and they only pay minimum wage.

I just had a phone interview where we talked about my resume and my current living situation. I was supposed to talk to a manager next, but instead, HR called me and said I'd get an offer soon. So, I signed it and that was it!

The interview process began with a phone interview. First, I had a quick chat with the HR hiring manager. Then, I had a longer conversation with the head of R&D and Lab testing, and an Engineer III. We talked about the job I was interviewing for, the company (Hussmann), and my experience. A few days later, I was invited for the main interview. This interview had a panel of five people: the head of HR, the supervisor for the position, and some senior engineers from the testing department, including the two I met on the phone. Everyone on the panel asked me questions about my personality, using the STAR method (problem, action, result). We also went over the job responsibilities and what they expected from me as an entry-level employee. After the Q&A, they gave me a short tour of the testing lab and the manufacturing area before wrapping up.
