Project Manager
The process was okay, but I didn't get an offer. There were three interviewers: one from HR, the department manager, and a senior team member. It was a single interview round. There was no next step, and I didn't receive any feedback after calling them.
- Could you introduce yourself?
Project Manager
It was a standard interview where they first did a behavior analysis, then moved on to project management methodology. You'll need to know how to work with Gantt charts and use Microsoft Project. If you're not super skilled in MS Project, it's better to admit it upfront because the questions and evaluation will be tougher. Also, be prepared for questions on estimating and financials.
- Can you list three different methods for project estimation?
Project Manager
It was pretty thorough and took a while. I talked to 6 different people in total. It kicked off with the hiring manager, and then I met with some peers too. HR was also pretty involved, and then the last interview was with the VP. It was a long and detailed conversation, and they asked me a lot of specific things about my past work.
