First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hunt Companies.
Accountant
After submitting my resume online, I was contacted for an interview. I then went in person to meet with three people at the director level or higher. During the interview, they asked me about my current work experience, my familiarity with the software they use, and the reasons for my job search.
- Could you detail your current role and responsibilities?
- What prompts your search for a new position?
- What is your experience with E1 software?
Business Operations Analyst
I was emailed to set up an in person interview. We confirmed a date, but then HR rescheduled. After rescheduling again, I went for the interview. The manager seemed nice but mostly talked and asked few questions. It was short, like 15-20 mins, and felt pretty easy, maybe even fake. I followed up with HR a week later. No response until I emailed again. She said she'd let me know in a week. I waited again. Called, emailed, left a message. Then got ghosted. Total waste of time.
- Can you tell me about your past job experience?
Project Manager
Got a call from a recruiter about the role and gave them the go-ahead to submit my resume. Then, I had an interview with two department heads. They mostly talked about the job and stressed how demanding it is. I asked a lot of questions at the end to understand better. It was about an hour, and I wasn't sure how they felt about me. Three weeks later, the recruiter contacted me for personal info, and I got an offer two days after that, with a salary higher than I asked for. The background check and drug test took about a week, which was straightforward and much appreciated.
- What is your greatest professional achievement?
Associate
So we started with a detailed overview of their businesses and industries, then they talked about how many candidates they were interviewing, and got more specific about what they were looking for, and then we dove into questions. We started with strengths and weaknesses, my interest in the position, and so on.
- Tell me about your biggest professional achievements.
