Project Manager
I went through a standard round of the interview process, which included questions related to the position and my background. There was a phone screening, and then I had two rounds of interviews.
- Can you summarize your resume and explain how it relates to this position?
Help Desk Technician
So basically, a recruiter connected me with the hiring manager. We had a quick chat on the phone, and then I talked with the Hiring Manager and the Supervisor. After that, they told me they'd run a background check and let me know if they wanted to proceed.
- If a customer says their wireless keyboard and mouse aren't working, what's the first thing you'd investigate?
Software Developer
It was only one interview round, but it was a really long one that took about half a day. It was a whole bunch of interview stages all on the same day. The interviewers were senior people from the development team and directors.
- Can you describe an IT project you've worked on and your part in it?
IT Specialist
Got an email to set up a video call. They asked me some regular questions about my past jobs and then some tech questions for desktop support. They also told me about the benefits and how the job works. If I get the job, they'll send an offer letter.
- Can you tell me about a time you dealt with a tough customer situation?
