First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Human Bees.
Research Scientist
It was a great interview. They asked me why I wanted to join the company, and since I had already researched it, I mentioned their mission statement. They also asked about my previous work experience and how it would be relevant to their company. I got a follow-up interview offer, but I had already accepted another job by then.
- Can you share details about your previous work experiences?
- What motivates you to seek employment with our company?
- How do you envision your past professional experiences contributing to our organization?
Technical Sourcer
First I had the recruiter phone screen then I moved onto the Director at Human Bees Zoom call then you chat with the employer hiring an RPO Sourcer/Recruiter. The first two rounds were very conversational. I felt the interviewer had a genuine interest in matching me with the right role.
- Tell me about your ideal role.
- What kind of roles have you recruited for in the past?
- What's the reason for leaving your last position?
Recruiter
Initial contact was made via InMail. A call was scheduled, and the sourcer mentioned sending a meeting invite, which did not arrive. However, the InMail discussion confirmed the date and time, and it was confirmed to be a phone call. The interviewer did not show up for the scheduled call. There was no prior communication to reschedule, nor was there a response to my follow-up InMail after the missed connection. I was ghosted. It's a shame because the company's concept is appealing, but the execution is poor. This is a bummer for those who invested time. The recruiting team needs significant improvement, as indicated by negative candidate experiences on Glassdoor. My question to the Founders is: why would any company hire you to manage their candidate pools when your own staff mishandles their candidates?
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Director of Business Development
We began with a phone screen where we discussed my resume and past work history. It felt pretty standard. Next, I had a virtual meeting with their VP. This involved more discussion about my experience, my strategic thinking for future business development, and my ability to achieve KPIs.
- Can you tell me about your previous experience in sales?
- What's the biggest account you've managed?
- Tell me about your background in sales and the largest account you've handled.
