Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

This interview process was disorganized and unprofessional, showing a lack of respect for my time and clear communication. It started with a recruiter screening call, which was rescheduled twice on short notice, though it eventually happened. Then, I had an hour-long video interview with the regional director focusing on my experience and qualifications. He then suggested an in-person meeting the following week. With only a day's notice, I met him again, and we discussed my management style and experience. Afterward, I was asked to complete a SWOT analysis of my potential team, which I submitted within 24 hours without confirmation of receipt. About five days later, I was asked via text to meet the VP of US Operations the same day. This interview involved the VP condescendingly questioning my qualifications, despite my having passed three rounds already, and questioning my ability to adapt to the brand's athleisure transition, even though my current company is doing the same. He seemed to base this on my wearing a suit, like him. I never heard back about the position, which has since been closed, nor received feedback on my analysis. The role was also open for 8 months, suggesting it might be undesirable. Overall, a negative experience due to poor communication, inconsistent questioning, and lack of respect for candidate's time.

I went through 2 rounds, first with a manager, then a higher up. Got invited back after the first one. The recruiter gave me some really harsh feedback after the second round, saying I was too happy and came off as informal. Apparently, they want someone more stoic. The second interviewer was super late, like 20 minutes, for the in-person meeting. I almost bounced. The job's been posted a bunch of times since, seems like they struggle to fill it.

First, they looked at my CV and cover letter. I made sure to check their website for tips on the cover letter, even using Google Translate for the German parts. They specifically wanted a photo and for me to explain why I wanted to work there. Then, there was a 30-minute phone interview. It was important to show enthusiasm because the HR person was picking just one person to move on to the manager. After that, I had a short interview with the manager, mostly to see if I was a good fit. Finally, I got an email with the contract.

The first part of the interview was with one girl, who was very nice but right away asked me why I wanted to work there and what I could bring to the table. This was for an entry level position. A college friend sent my resume over and they called me for an interview for that position, yet they kept asking why I applied for this specific role. The first interviewer also brought up salary about 15 minutes into the conversation, which I found a bit strange. When I inquired about their base salary, she replied with 'she didn't know', which felt like a test to see my reaction. The second person I spoke with was also very pleasant and much more laid-back. She was interested in learning more about me as an individual and how I might fit into a team setting, in a less formal manner than the first. They did ask for a second interview (which is standard for them to have two rounds), but I decided not to proceed. I didn't feel like it was the right fit for me.
