Took an online assessment at the college labs, the questions were pretty easy to intermediate. Then had a technical interview, focused on basic data structures and Java. Also had an HR interview where they asked resume-based questions. This was repeated twice.

I applied through campus recruitment. The first stage was an online assessment which included logical reasoning, aptitude, computer science fundamentals, AI/ML MCQs, and one coding question where we could pick from two options. The coding question I chose was a twist on the fractional knapsack problem, needing dynamic programming rather than a simple greedy solution. Out of 27 students who passed the OA, we proceeded to the interviews. There were two interviews: the first was purely technical, focusing on data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and database management systems theory, along with one DSA question and two SQL questions. The second interview was a mix of technical and HR aspects, where I was asked about my favorite subject, questions on OSI model layers and TCP/UDP in computer networks, semaphores in operating systems, C++ pointers and memory, and some typical HR/managerial questions.

I applied twice at HSC. The first time, the interviewer seemed unsure about the hiring position and required skills, leading to many irrelevant questions. On my second attempt, I had two telephonic rounds which I passed well. Then, a manager called to discuss my past project experience, which I also cleared. I was given a provisional offer and asked to attend a client round at Nokia. I answered most questions correctly during the client round, but missed one, which was cited as the reason for not proceeding. It's unfortunate when a single person's judgment can cost a good opportunity for a skilled developer.
