First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hughes Systique.
Trainee Engineer
The interview had 3 rounds: 1. Written Test: It was fairly easy with analytical questions of English and Maths including 2 Coding Questions (there was a choice in language c or Java) 2. Technical Interview: They asked all the basic concepts of OS, DS, C and Java along with some problem statements for coding on the spot. 3. Technical and HR Interview: They asked a mix of all questions from technical to personal.
- Can you explain the different types of data structures and their functions, along with real-world examples?
- What is an Operating System, and how would you describe its function or use to someone unfamiliar with technology?
- Is it possible to manipulate strings without using built-in string manipulation functions?
Engineer
It was a long and time consuming process. First there was an Iq test, then a 15 minute interview, followed by a second interviewer. After that, they said they would call, but it took them 10 days to do so.
- What are some simple questions related to embedded systems?
Engineer
I had 2 interviews for the role. The first one lasted an hour and was technical. The second one was about 30-35 minutes and covered both technical and HR aspects. Overall, it was a positive experience.
- Can you explain polymorphism and its different types?
