First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hughes Marino.
Operations Manager
The interview process was unnecessarily long and drawn out. It involved multiple rounds, an in-person visit, and assignments. Communication was slow and careless. It took over a week after the final interview to get a rejection after a couple of months. The process felt disorganized, inconsiderate, and disrespectful of candidates' time. Future candidates should be aware of what they're signing up for.

Marketing
This was a super long and drawn out interview process that really didn't respect my time. After going through four interviews with a total of eight different interviewers, I thought they would have a good idea by now if they wanted to hire me. I ended up finding another job somewhere else after being involved with their interview process for about a month and a half.

Operations Specialist
So, to even be considered for a phone interview, I first had to email in this 5-part questionnaire. And then, there was a one-way interview video I had to submit too. They were super strict about it, wouldn't even schedule the phone call unless both those things were done. Oh, and they gave me less than a day, like under 24 hours, to get both the video and the questionnaire submitted.

Administrative Assistant
A third party recruiter reached out to me to tell me about the position -- told me to be aware of what I've posted on social media because the company really cares about their image. After the recruiter spoke with the team, I went onto the next round and it was a pre-recorded video interview with behavioral questions that you can probably prepare for if you watch their example videos. Once I passed that, I had to do a 1 hour video interview with the Talent Engagement manager which went well -- very conversational with behavioral questions sprinkled in here and there. Finally, I got to the on-site and met with my potential manager. The on-site interview was super relaxed and conversational. Overall, pleasant interview experience with quick turn-around time.
