The interview process was straightforward. It began with a phone call, followed by a panel interview. Surprisingly, they asked about high school experiences. The overall vibe was relaxed and the interviewers were very friendly.

The interview was ok. However, I was not too impressed by the lady who interviewed me. I do not believe she was listening very well to my answers. When I mentioned the importance of quality over quantity in recruiting (which also aligns with their values) and how some companies think the opposite, she assumed that I was talking about the company I currently work for. I needed to let her know that I did not mention anything about my company following that model and had to repeat to her once again that it was based on research/articles I have read. She also asked me a question I had already given the answer for, but for that, she was probably following protocol. Long story short, I did not get the offer and I believe that it’s because I’m overqualified. Just be careful who you interview with and make sure that they listen carefully to the answers you provide.

There were 2 interviews for this position. The first was a 45-minute phone call, and the second was a 1-hour Zoom interview. Even though I thought I did really well in both, I wasn't selected, which I find pretty surprising. I had to take time off work twice just to do these interviews, and it feels like a waste since I didn't get the job. I also have more experience than they were looking for.

The person I spoke with was pleasant and described the role. She also answered my emails quickly when I had queries. It was a professional and fast interview. I did feel that the interviewer was perhaps not from the company itself, but from a third-party interviewing service.
