Technical Behavioral

I had 5 phone interviews, 2 of which were technical where I had to SSH into a server and fix some Python code. After that, they flew me to New York for an onsite interview. The onsite was a bit disappointing. Most people seemed unenthusiastic and asked vague questions without explaining the architecture. They were very secretive about their tech stack, even about using Jenkins. They also seemed unprepared for my visit after I traveled from Texas. Some questions weren't well-thought-out. I followed up with two emails after the interviews expressing my lack of interest, but I never heard back from them, which felt unprofessional, especially after 10 weeks of communication. The environment seemed casual, but also unwelcoming and a bit rude, like being told not to leave a specific room. I wouldn't want to work there.
