I had a first phone chat with a recruiter from Hudl in the UK. They asked some basic things about the projects on my resume. They also asked about my coding skills and if I had experience in the field. Then I had a second interview. It wasn't super hard but needed practice. I didn't realize it would be technical.

I had a good phone interview with the hiring manager. He thought my background was great and it would be a shame if they didn't hire me. Then, I was given a very open-ended data science project to complete. I worked hard on it and submitted it, but got rejected about 12 hours later. I asked two different people for feedback on what they were looking for in the project that I missed, but I never heard back. It didn't leave me with a good impression of the company.
