We discussed the job, then I had to create two writing samples on their platform. I think they were going to use these pieces for clients, and I think I was supposed to get paid via paypal but never did. The office environment is relaxed and youthful. SEO writers also have the option to work remotely after 3 months of employment (and probably after a review). However, the pay was too low for the work, so I turned down the offer.

Technical Coding

The interview process was pretty basic, as expected for an entry-level SEO role. They started with a quick test that was half math, half logic questions; it was fine to skip some, but do your best on the ones you can answer accurately within the time limit. After that, the main part of the interview involved going through about 10 questions, with some conversation mixed in. The goal was mainly to gauge my fundamental understanding of SEO and marketing.
