Hubilo Interview Questions
& Process

The interview process was a 4 round process in which I was reached out by HR. The discussion was primarily centered around my aspirations and how Hubilo can be the right choice for my future professional journey. The second round was with the hiring/Reporting manager in which we had a great discussion about Hubilo as a company and what the role is all about from his perspective. The reporting manager had a couple of questions centered around my current role and what skills and value can I bring to the table. The questions were product-based where-in he was trying to understand my thought process and way of problem-solving on the products that I have worked on in the past. The third round was a specific case study round in which I was given a case problem centered around Hubilo and was given 2-3 days of time to complete it in form of a presentation. The interview was a very detailed one in which I had to present my solution. This was followed by a Q&A round where the panel wanted to understand why I had picked certain assumptions and the logic behind those assumptions. The fourth round was with the CEO of the company where-in it was more product vision-based. He seemed an amazing guy who knows what he needs out of his product in the next 3-5 years.

First, there was a screening call with HR. It was a great experience, they asked good questions and seemed knowledgeable about the role and candidate expectations. Then, I had a second call with the Hiring Manager, which was a bad experience. The interviewer seemed unprepared and lacked domain knowledge, struggling to come up with questions. They asked for my CTC early on, which lowered the interview's energy. The interview lasted about 25 minutes. The interviewer then asked me to complete an assignment and mentioned a follow-up call, but was unclear about the assignment's purpose or expectations when I asked. The next morning, HR informed me the position was filled.

The HR part of the process for the Manager, Finance Data Engineering role was super smooth and they kept in touch really well, which is rare. I had three interviews: first with the Finance Head, then the Product Head, and finally a culture fit interview. All the conversations were well-planned and productive, and things went really smoothly.

The interview process was very well orchestrated. I would specifically like to mention Victor and his team for an amazing process that they have built around this. It doesn't feel like I was talking to an HR whom I had never spoken before, but it was like we both know each other from ages. Such a brilliant piece of mind and thought process Victor has. Hubilo should be proud of having Victor by their side, 5 stars to the entire process!
