Client Services Account Manager
The interview process was more about personal fit than specific skills. There weren't really any set questions or a standard procedure; it felt pretty random and sometimes rushed. If I had to describe the steps, the first was meeting with a manager or someone more senior. If they liked you, you'd move on to the second step, which involved meeting some team members. They tended to ask random questions, and I never felt like they had prepared ones (which is why I mentioned some inappropriate, non-HR-approved questions were asked). Besides the usual four or five questions about why I wanted the job or minor details about my past, they also asked some other non-job-related questions. Honestly, some questions weren't very HR-compliant, and I even overheard some not directed at me but based on other interviews.
- Do you have kids, and if so, what are their ages?
- Your last name is quite distinctive; does it indicate you speak more than one language?
Account Manager
The interview process began with a one-on-one with the direct manager. This initial conversation covered basic interview topics like skills, career background, and future goals. It was a relaxed and comfortable meeting where establishing rapport was easy. Following that, I met with the Client Services team. This part of the process was really laid-back and actually enjoyable. We just chatted casually to see if our personalities would click. I think this is a smart move for any company, as good team chemistry often leads to employees staying longer.
- Could you tell me about your skills?
- Can you describe your career path?
- What are your career aspirations?
Senior Designer
Applied online. Then had some phone interviews. After that, I had in-person interviews with my direct supervisor and their boss. The CEO did the final interview. My direct manager asked about my experience in my specific area and related to the whole Marketing & Sales Support department. Then, their senior interviewed me, asking more technical questions to verify my expertise. After that, I met the CEO, which was quicker than expected since they were leaving town. The CEO interview was friendly and assessed my people skills, confidence, and general background. The whole thing from start to offer was fast and easy.
- Have you ever felt like punching someone?
Solutions Engineer
I was referred by people already working there since I used to be an employee. After submitting my resume, an interview was scheduled. I went to the office and met with a sales team member in person, and talked to the Chief Product Officer over the phone. After that, I was given a demo site and asked to demo the product.
- What was the hardest part about demoing the software, and how did you prepare?
