Kim was really nice and knew a lot about her client. She interviewed me thoroughly and always got back to me quickly. It's nice to hear back when you're not sure if you will.

A headhunter reached out about a role at a startup. I spent hours on the phone with her discussing the role and preparing. She then moved me to an interview with the CEO. I tried to follow up for feedback, but apparently their motto is 'to be kind.' I never got any feedback, despite all the prep. Their motto should be 'rude, childish, and unprofessional.' Ghosting candidates at this level is not how you should run an executive retained business. Candidates can become clients, but not this one. I've already shared details about the company, recruiter, and my experience with my HR network. Let them handle the damage control. It was a shameful and childish experience.

I’ve worked with both Liz and Olivia, who have always been responsive and have presented me for wonderful opportunities in HR. It is so refreshing to find recruiters who only deal in HR and who completely understand what you’re looking for in a role and what their clients need in a candidate. Their reputation is inspiring; they care more about helping people than turning a quick profit. You are never just another resume with hrQ. They also have wonderful networking events to help candidates and hiring managers find each other, and informative presentations by innovative leaders in HR. These are the people you want representing you!

They said everyone works together, and to focus only on what we can do for them, never ask about your future goals or what they can do for you. This turned out to not be true.
