Musician
The interview process for this Musician role was quite interesting. It involved submitting audition videos featuring two pop cover songs from the last decade, performed on piano with vocals.

Music Entertainer Trainee
So basically I was singing onstage at Howl one night just for fun and one of the band members who is a recruiter for the company gave me his card and told me to come audition if I was interested. My first real audition was at the club with the regular Monday night crowd, the recruiter, and another candidate. I did 6 songs for this audition (4 piano/singing, 1 guitar/singing, and 1 just singing with the band). The next step was two weeks later when the national entertainment director flew out to see me and another candidate on a busy Thursday night. I performed 4 songs. After that, they took me to the office and asked me some questions about my musical background, repertoire, and life. Three weeks after that, I had my final audition at Howl on a super busy Saturday night. The national director and a founder were there. I performed 4 songs. That night they told me I got the job! It was a pretty crazy process but it was fun and a good test. It made me want the job even more each time. Can't wait for training!

Music Entertainer
I applied online and got a call the next day from the talent director who explained the gig and asked for more piano footage since piano skills are a must. I sent it and they flew in to meet me for a more in-depth interview. It was chill and laid back. They don't make you feel weird about how you dress or talk if you're a unique musician/artist. Then I was flown to another club and did an audition performance, kind of thrown into the deep end. It wasn't hard if you're used to performing. I did three songs but was told to prep seven. Got hired two weeks later. Super easy and fun.
- What songs do you know how to play?
