& Process

The interview process for this role involved three separate interview rounds with three different individuals or panels, and it generally took a few weeks to complete. The interviews were conducted remotely and featured fairly standard questions. The interviewers were dressed in business casual attire, and the conversation flowed smoothly.

The interview process was transparent, efficient, and effective. It consisted of an interview with both the hiring manager and an executive. They were interested in the best fit not just for the company but also for the candidate. The interviews themselves were straight forward: The interviewers wanted to know who you are, why Houwzer, and what makes you a fit for the role. They also left ample time for questions afterwards.

The management was really upfront about the company's direction, strategy, plans, and current issues/chances. This led to a good discussion where we talked about how the job can help and influence the business, and also how my skills and experience could be used to tackle problems and back important plans. They really focused on data-driven examples. Making sure I was a good fit for the team's culture was also a big deal.

I went through a few interviews with Houwzer management. First, I spoke with the recruiter who initially rejected my application because I didn't have the experience they were looking for. But then, I wrote a really passionate letter about my strong interest and desire to work for them, explaining how I could contribute. They liked my passion and decided to give me an interview. Because of my genuine enthusiasm and given my extensive experience outside of Real Estate, along with my limited part-time Real Estate experience, Houwzer really valued the passion and diverse perspectives I offered, and they ended up offering me the job.
