Tutor
The interview process involved a lot of "what-if" type of behavioral questions. I was supposed to work as a math and programming tutor, so I expected somewhat technical or mathematical questions, but it must be the case that what your transcript says matters the most.
- Considering a student appears sad or depressed, how would you, as their tutor, respond?
- If a student is showing signs of sadness or depression, what actions would you take in your role as a tutor?
Tutor
The interview was pretty good, actually. Super easy and fast. They just asked some basic questions about my experience and my ability to tutor. You need prior experience for this role. They offered me the job right there.
- Can you tell me about your previous tutoring experiences?
Instructor
It was a typical panel interview.
- Given a concept and asked to provide an "on the spot" lecture on the topic.
