The first step was a video interview. After that, I had a 2.5 hour interview session with four different departments and HR. It felt like a huge waste of time because I never spoke with the hiring manager. Instead, I talked to people who weren't relevant to the role. Then, I was ghosted for two months before getting a generic rejection email. They should really rethink their interview process. While it's good to meet different departments, talking to them before HR and the hiring manager is a waste of everyone's time. Some interviewers didn't even turn on their cameras, and the whole experience of getting ghosted after investing so much time felt rude.

So, I had two phone chats, and then they had me do a quick research project using PowerPoint. The first call was with the Director of Business Strategy & Analytics. He went over my background and asked why I was interested in the business side of baseball. He also threw in a couple of technical questions about analyzing data. The second phone chat was with the VP of Marketing & Strategy, which was more laid-back and covered more general stuff. After those two interviews, I was given a project where I had to create a single PPT slide showing market research for a company.

The interview process kicked off with a HireVue round that took about 20-30 minutes and included five questions. Next, there was a social project where I had to write captions for Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, and create social plans. The final stage involved Zoom interviews, with six people from different departments, each interview lasting 30 minutes.

The project itself was pretty simple and the interviews were really basic. I had about 2 hours to code for the project and they just wanted to see a nice slide deck.
