The ceo and dceo were quite serious with their questions. The panel generally asked a lot of questions about yourself, reasons why you think you want to do engineering in hdb in particular and what you have to contribute to singapore’s public housing. Also some questions about why choose civil engineering in particular.

So the building and infra grp kinda holds career seminars at polys and unis when they wanna recruit new people. You can submit your application online via the HDB website, making sure to specify which portfolio you're after since there are lots of openings. HR will then get back to you with an interview slot. I only had 1 round, which was with the Group Director and other Directors, and HR was there too. They mostly asked stuff related to your major, any intern experience you've had, and what you're hoping to get out of joining the group.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • A friend of mine was asked a technical question about structures, like what to do to maintain a building's structural integrity during an earthquake.
