The hiring process was quick and well-managed by HR up to the point of the interview with the hiring manager. However, there was a lack of clarity about what they were really looking for. The interviewer seemed unprepared and lacked a clear direction. Although the conversation was friendly, I later received a generic message stating they had decided not to proceed with my application. I asked for specific feedback, and surprisingly, the response was vague and contradictory. They claimed they were looking for someone with a different profile, even though my qualifications perfectly matched the job description. This suggests a lack of internal alignment and preparedness in their selection process. It gives the impression that the department doesn't know what it wants, or worse, that the person managing the role is insecure.

The process was divided into 4 stages: a chat with HR, a technical assessment/discussion, and a chat with the hiring manager. The process was very quick, and they were attentive with feedback and details. There was no technical test, and the company's onboarding is also quite extensive with great follow-up.

The entire process was smooth and well-organized, with great communication from Pety. The interviews were informative, I learned about HostGator and the job details, and then got updates on the hiring process. Talking with Eugenia and Raquel was also very insightful and satisfying. It was a really well-run, practical, and to-the-point process.

The interview process wasn't too long, which was good. It mainly consisted of an HR call, a group activity, and an interview with the hiring manager. The team members were friendly, and the questions weren't intrusive. However, I felt the HR person was overly confident about my chances, which set my expectations high, only for me to be rejected in the final stage.
