Hospice RN Case Manager
I applied on Indeed and heard back about a week later to set up a zoom interview. The zoom call lasted about an hour. After that, she mentioned sending my application to the team lead for an in-person interview. I got a text about two weeks after the zoom call to schedule the in-person interview. I went to the office for an interview with two women who were both hospice team leads. Then, they had me sign a HIPPA paper so I could go on a ride-along with one of their workers. I did the ride-along and am now waiting to hear back.
- What actions would you take if a patient was experiencing pain and their family declined the prescribed pain medication?
- What if the family completely refuses the pain meds?
- Describe your approach when a patient's family rejects pain medication for the patient.
Registered Nurse
We started with a phone/facetime call that was about 20 minutes with basic questions about your experience and describing situations you’ve dealt with as a nurse. Then second interview is in person at the office, pretty much same deal.
- Tell me about a time you had to deal with a difficult patient or family member. What steps did you take and how did you manage the situation?
Bereavement Coordinator
After submitting my application, I had a phone interview, followed by an in-person interview, and then a second interview. There was also a skills assessment where I had to work through specific scenarios to test my problem-solving abilities and my capacity to lead with compassion and integrity, with a strong emphasis on accountability. They also mentioned good perks.
- How would you approach interacting with individuals who are challenging to deal with?
Business Analyst
I had some issues with the application and interview process. The first interview was supposed to be on Zoom but the HOV rep didn't show up. The second time around, the rep was 10 minutes late, but the conversation went well and I moved on. The next interview, the hiring manager seemed to think I was a different candidate.
- Can you tell me about your background and previous experiences?
