Certified Nursing Assistant
The interview process involved 2 rounds: a phone interview followed by a face-to-face interview conducted via computer. A decision was then made. The interview was pretty typical, with a face-to-face meeting with 2 interviewers. The questions asked were relevant to the position. Overall, it was a good experience, and the entire process from application to start date took about 2 weeks.
- What made you choose us for a potential job?
- Describe a time you had a negative experience with a patient and how you dealt with it.
- Describe a time you had a negative experience with a coworker and how you dealt with it.
Registered Nurse
The interview was great. I met with two nurses, Heather and Shannon, who were very welcoming. They asked me questions about work situations, my personal experiences, and how I'd handle specific scenarios. They also went over the unit's dynamics and answered my questions. After the interview, I got a tour of the unit. The whole thing lasted about an hour.
- Can you describe a time you had to rapidly assess and respond to a patient's changing condition? What actions did you take, and what was the result?
Staff Accountant
We played phone tag initially. HR seemed very busy and difficult to reach or get to return messages. For the first interview, I made it convenient for them and we met at Panera Bread, which I thought was a bit odd. I sent a thank you note but never got a response, not even an auto-denial, which most companies send these days. I even asked them to call me whether I got the job or not, even though I felt the interview went very well. I find it unprofessional for a company to not respond.
- Can you tell me about your previous role?
- What are your biggest passions?
Outreach
Phone screen to check my interest level. Had a brief 1:1 with an HR manager. Then I met the person who would be my supervisor. After that, I met with the VP of the department. I never heard back from the HR manager.
- What is a weakness?
