I had a phone interview which went well. Then I was invited for an in-person interview with my potential supervisor. It seemed to go alright. Afterwards, I sent thank-you emails to both my interviewer and the HR person who arranged the meeting. A week later, I followed up again to express my continued interest and inquire about a timeline for a decision, but I still didn't hear back. Ultimately, I never received any response from either of them. I feel it's basic courtesy for HR to at least inform candidates after two interview rounds whether they got the job or if the company decided to move forward with someone else.

The office space was really nice, but the interview process was quite lengthy. I ended up speaking with five different people over a span of three days. Everyone I met was great to work with, however, I just couldn't justify the salary offered for living in NYC.
