The interview process was pretty long, but honestly, it was enjoyable and not too difficult! It kicked off with a phone call from one of the HR managers. We chatted about the job I applied for, and they got a sense of my personality and interests. After that, I was invited in to interview with three different new accounts from Horizon, which took about 2 hours. A day or two later, I got an email saying one of the accounts wanted to move forward. I heard back from that account pretty quickly after the follow-up email. The very next day, they set up a phone interview with me. A few days after that, I found out the results!

Got an employee referral that was followed up on quickly, so using your connections is a good idea! First up was a phone interview with HR where we talked about my resume, career goals, some hypothetical situations, and they went over the job description. A few days later, I came in for a 3.5-hour in-person interview. I met with 5 people from the brand strategy team, then did a tough Excel test, followed by a writing test, and got a tour of the office. The office is cool and modern, but the interview felt way too long for an entry-level role, super repetitive and not efficient. Some brand strategy team members asked weird questions like 'what's your spirit animal' or 'If you were a brand who would you be' to see how I think on my feet. I got an offer by phone about 3 days later from the same HR person. By then, I'd already accepted another job I was more interested in. When I told the HR rep, he got really defensive and pushy, asking about the other job, what I'd be doing, the salary, and even warned me it wouldn't be a good fit, which wasn't his place. He seemed to be pressuring me to take a job I didn't want just to fill a spot. Really strange and unprofessional, though maybe it was just him as the other employees were a bit more professional, but still, not an environment for everyone.

The interview process was smooth and flawless. HR was great and made sure I was satisfied and got the offer I was looking for. I had 3 interviews with two different teams, but it was worth the wait.
