First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hope Services.
Community Support Facilitator
Started with a normal phone screen, then I did an in-person interview with two managers. All the questions were behavioral. Afterwards, they showed me around the facility to get a feel for the environment and clients.
- What experience do you have working with people with disabilities?
Mental Health Clinician
The interview lasted about an hour. First, the director gave a quick history of Hope Services. Then, we talked about my personal journey and experiences. After that, we discussed my expectations for Hope Services. Finally, I was given a vignette to see how I think through situations.
- What are your expectations from your supervisor?
Program Coordinator
It took about two months to get a call for an interview. I had to email HR to see if they even got my application. A few days after I emailed, I got a call. The interview went great. It was a panel of 4. All were super nice and made me feel comfortable. The only bad thing is that I never got a response on if they were going to continue with me for the position. They said I would hear back in 1 week. It’s been 4 months and I never heard back even after I contacted them.
- Do you have experience making daily schedules?
Community Support Facilitator
It was a really nice and welcoming place. I went through a panel interview with three people, and it all went very smoothly. The questions were relevant to the job and Hope Services' mission, plus some questions to get to know me better.
- Could you share your philosophy regarding people with disabilities?
