I sent in my application a few months ago and heard back from the recruiter pretty quickly, within 2 business days. We scheduled a phone call for less than a week later, and it felt like they were really trying to fill this sales role fast. The recruiter asked me about my past experiences and to give examples of specific situations. We went through my whole resume, discussing each past job and why I moved on. After that initial chat, I was invited to come in for an interview at their office with the CEO and CFO. The recruiter hadn't mentioned it would be them, so heads up if you interview there. Both of them also dug into my resume and work history. One seemed keen on hiring me, but the other had some doubts. After that, the recruiter sent me forms for a background check and employment application, and asked me to come back for another interview with my potential direct sales manager. She really emphasized getting the background check and forms back to her ASAP, which I did. My interview with the sales manager was more of a casual chat about my working style and availability. Surprisingly, I didn't get an offer, even though it seemed like it was heading that way. I'm not sure why they'd ask for my SSN for a background check that seemingly never happened. It left a bad impression because it felt like the hiring team wasn't on the same page.

I applied online and the HR Manager emailed me asking for my availability for a phone interview. They called me about twenty minutes after the scheduled time. The call lasted about half an hour. During the call, the interviewer asked for my salary history and mentioned that my income was verified. This wasn't the best start. They also asked if I was interested in another role, which I declined.

The interview process was pretty standard. It started with a recruiter from the company reaching out on LinkedIn and then conducting an initial phone screening. A few days later, I had a second phone interview with the hiring manager. The following week, I went in person for an interview with the hiring manager and one of their colleagues. After they interviewed other candidates, I was invited back for the final round of interviews with the executives. Overall, I liked the whole process, and I got a good offer.

I had a quick phone interview that then led to an in person interview. I talked to the HR manager and the sales manager. The whole process took about 2 weeks and I got the job.
