It started with a coding round, SQL and programming, which was pretty basic. Then, an online round on MS Teams where they asked about my experience and delved into my knowledge. The final interview was in person at their office, focusing on cultural fit.

I had a phone interview with the hiring department, then an in-person interview about a week after. The questions were really corporate and didn't leave much room for answers outside of the banking world.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

So I had a quick call with HR to start, it was pretty chill. Then, about a week later, I interviewed with a manager, and that was a more detailed chat. Five days after that, I spoke with a senior exec, and they were super nice and easy to talk to. The next step was an in-person at the office with HR and someone on the team. That one was short, mostly me asking them stuff. After that, HR said the team would reach out fast, but I never heard back, even after I tried to connect with management. Total ghosting situation.

Behavioral Technical

I applied online and got a call back from a recruiter at HomeTrust bank pretty fast. We talked about a few jobs they thought I'd be good for. He said he'd get back to me in a week if any hiring managers were interested. He did call back in 4 days, but I missed it. He left a message for me to call him back. I called the next day and left a message. I called two more times after that, leaving messages each time asking him to call when he could. I never heard back at all. It's super frustrating and unprofessional. I would have at least expected a call to let me know they weren't interested. I really think someone messed up and doesn't want to admit it.
