The process kicked off with an HR call, and then I had three one-hour interview rounds. I met with several managers from the team, and the interviews covered both behavioral and technical aspects. Everything seemed to go well, and they indicated they'd be in touch soon. However, after about 20 days, they informed me the position was canceled and they were no longer hiring. It would have been better if they were more proactive and respected everyone's time and effort.

I applied for this through glassdoor and a recruiter reached out to me and scheduled an interview with the team lead of the team I was going to be placed at. The meeting was on Microsoft teams and the gentleman interviewing me was nice and polite. I had asked questions regarding the next steps and he had mentioned that I would hear back within a week or so. After a week went by, I didn't hear anything back. After two weeks went by I still didn't hear anything back and I decided to send a follow up email, I got no response back on that either. It sucks that they can't even let you know if they are not considering you for the position. Very unprofessional way to handle that.

I got an email to schedule my availability, and we set up a conference call for the next morning. I talked to two people from the department. They gave me the whole rundown, the pros and cons, and the tough parts of the job. I thought it was super professional and helpful, they really let you know what you're getting into so you can figure out if it's not a good fit for you. After they explained everything, we did some Q&A. One interviewer went first, then the other. Then I got to ask my questions. The whole thing took about an hour, and it was a good experience.

The communication wasn't the best. First, I had a basic phone interview with a recruiter. Then, a call with the hiring manager was set up. I didn't get confirmation or conference call details from the recruiter until an hour before the call on the day it was scheduled. The interview with the hiring manager went well. They said I should hear back either way within about a week. I haven't heard anything in over a month.
