Senior Recruiter
The interview felt really robotic and focused way too much on metrics. The interviewer didn't really listen to my experience. She came across as very salesy, which is a turn-off for a recruiter. It's kind of hard to believe they have over 20 recruiters for only 500 employees, which just screams inefficiency, and you don't need a lot of metrics to see that.
- Tell me about the metrics you've tracked.
- What metrics are you familiar with?
- How do you feel about the emphasis on metrics in recruiting?
Technical Sourcer
First, there was an intro call to chat about the job. Then, about a week later, I spoke with the hiring manager. That was followed by a 5-hour onsite interview. They mentioned I'd hear back pretty fast. A week after the onsite, they called to say they were interviewing a few more people, which is fine, they're just being thorough. Ten days after that, they said they were still interviewing more candidates but thought they'd have an answer by the end of that week or early the next. Then 15 days passed with no word. It would've been nice to get a rejection instead of just ghosting me.
- Can you describe how you manage multiple tasks in your current position?
Recruitment Specialist
The Head of Talent reached out to me through LinkedIn and from what she told me, I had to learn more! We had a phone screen before she invited me in to meet with the team. Over the course of three hours, I spoke with five employees including the CEO, Director of Sales, Account Executive, Head of Talent, and the Office Manager. Everyone was very informative and I had great conversations with all. It was a little lengthier than I'd anticipated, but I took that as a good sign!
