I had a phone call with them, where the caller asked me about my past projects, the technologies I used on them, any difficulties I had with them, and how I overcame them. She asked why I'm interested in HBHC and my availability.

I talked to HR in Dec 2024, which went well. Then I had an in-person meeting with the CRO, which also went well. After that, I met with the VP of Sales (my potential direct manager) the same week. He was upfront about not being sure if the team would expand, but they still moved me to the next stage. That was a group interview with other managers in early Jan. It's now mid-Feb and I haven't heard anything back from HR about the job status. I feel like I've been waiting a long time for a position they seem unsure about filling.

Recruiter reached out then set up a chat with the hiring manager within a few days. Then, 6 more interviews were scheduled. Two of these were panel interviews, followed by individual interviews, so I ended up talking to 15 people in total. The first panel interview was supposed to have 5 people, but only one showed up – someone in senior management who acted like he couldn't wait to leave. The others didn't show, and I was told they'd be rescheduled. I decided to pull out of the running because I didn't want to waste any more time with people who couldn't even show up on time. HR said it was a 'one off,' but then they contacted me a week later about a different role – a real one off.

I wanted to share my positive experience interviewing with Jeannie Guffy for the Sr. Product Manager role. While Jeannie felt I wasn't the best fit for that specific position, she took the time to explore my background and identify other potential openings. We found a role that seemed like a good match, and she passed my resume along. I'm not sure what the outcome will be, but I was really impressed by her dedication to finding a suitable placement for both me and Homecare Homebase.
