First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Homebridge Financial Services.
Marketing Strategist
It was a two-stage interview process. First, I had a phone chat with the hiring manager for this position. Then, I went in person to interview with the department director. The questions asked were all about my past experiences that show I can do the job responsibilities.
- Can you tell me about your strategy for targeting an audience for VA mortgage loans?
Marketing Director
The interview was acceptable over video conference, but they experienced technical difficulties. The HR representative who was handling my application quit during the process. There was a significant lack of communication; my calls and emails seemed to go unanswered, making the overall process disappointing and unprofessional. Several months after the interview, and after I followed up, I received a generic decline email, which was surprising as they had apparently found me in their system.
- Tell me about your background.
Loan Processor
The interview process wasn't too hard, especially if you already have processing experience since the questions asked were pretty standard. My interviewer was nice. There were a few interviews in total.
- Processing-related questions were asked.
Underwriter
I spoke with the direct manager and the Ops Mgr. They asked some great questions and were really engaging. They explained the job and what it entails clearly. Scheduling and callbacks were timely.
- What is your understanding of our company?
