I had a phone screen and then a panel interview, but I didn't actually do the panel one. They explained the day-to-day tasks for the role really confusingly. It was honestly the worst interview experience I've had from the company's side. It felt like they were actually looking for a software developer rather than an analyst, which made the job listing seem inaccurate.

I had a phone screen and then the 1st interview was set up on zoom. They told me at the beginning there was a hard stop at the top of the hour, which gave us only about 29 minutes. There was small talk which I thought was fine but not when you have a hard cut off. I feel like I didn't get a chance to truly cover my experience. I didn't get moved to the 2nd interview because they said others more closely matched. I feel like if I had more time and wasn't pressured at the end, they would have seen that I was worthy of a 2nd interview. With three minutes left I was able to ask questions about the position.

  • Describe a situation where you successfully deescalated a conflict or tense situation.
