First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Home Instead Deutschland.
Night Care Assistant
The standard process for this role involved an initial phone call followed by an in-person interview that lasted about 30 minutes. They asked about safeguarding, health and safety, moving and handling training, fire safety, and food hygiene training.
- Tell me about your experience in caring roles.
- Can you describe your experience with safeguarding procedures?
- What is your background regarding health and safety in a care setting?
Care Taker
The hiring process was really easy and straightforward. The staff were nice and seemed to genuinely care. They require a drug test before hiring you. You'll also need to complete some training once you get the offer. This job offers a lot of flexibility for both the position itself and setting your own work hours. It usually takes less than an hour to get to and from work for each shift.
- Can you tell me about your past experience in senior care?
Verantwortliche Pflegefachkraft
First, they promised a salary proposal and then, if it fits, a shadowing appointment. Then there was no answer at all. They never got back to me again. Second application, different location, also with a manager, it started right away and they used the informal 'you' with me. That's not okay at all! Therefore, be careful where you want to work. - What is the difference between health insurance and nursing care insurance? What benefits do you receive from each?
Training Administrator
I had a one-step interview where I met the manager and the COO face-to-face. During this meeting, we talked about the job spec and salary, and I was asked technical and behavioral questions. A few days later, they called me with the job offer, and then I got an email.
- Can you tell me about yourself and your personality?
- What are your career aspirations and objectives?
- What specific skills do you possess that are relevant to this role?
