First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Holy Family Institute.
HR Coordinator
I applied online and shortly after got an email to set up a phone interview. We did the phone interview and then I was denied the next day. The interview started late because the interviewer was finishing emails. Then she asked me why I wasn't familiar with certain software for a role I hadn't worked in. I would have turned down an offer anyway because they didn't review my resume beforehand and were just reading it back to me. By the end, I made it clear I wasn't super interested in moving forward.
- Basic interview questions asked.
- Questions about your knowledge and experience.
- Why do you lack knowledge of specific software for a role you haven't worked in?
Shift Supervisor
I got a call from someone about the job for a quick chat. Then I had an in-person interview and they made me an offer pretty quickly after, as long as I passed the security checks.
- What would you say are your biggest strengths?
- And what about your biggest weaknesses?
- Tell me why you're interested in this position.
Special Education Teacher
Saw an ad on Indeed.com for a Special Education Teacher role at Holy Family Institute and applied. Got an email the same week to schedule an interview via a provided link. I interviewed on Thursday and was offered the job that same afternoon. I immediately had to take a drug test at Quest Diagnostics to finalize the hiring. Orientation was the next Thursday, and I started work the following Monday. There was no other training provided besides CPI training the Friday after I was hired.
- If a student were to call you an offensive name or throw something in front of other students, what would be your immediate response, and how would you address the situation afterwards?
School Van Driver
It was a really easy and friendly interview, the boss was welcoming and supportive, I liked them. They were flexible with scheduling and willing to work around my needs. I'd recommend this driver job because the pay was good too.
- What hours would you like to work?
