Behavioral Technical

After applying online, I got a quick response. The recruiter and I scheduled our first interview, which was really nice. She was friendly and seemed to think I would be a good fit. So, we then set up an interview with someone else in the department. I thought the second interview would be 30 minutes, but after just two questions and only 13 minutes, they very abruptly ended it by saying “Well, have a great rest of your day!” When I asked about the next steps, they said there would be three to four more interviews for a basic sales role. They told me to expect to hear from the recruiter within a week about scheduling the next interview. The next day, I sent my thank you emails and offered to provide any clarification. The day after that, I got a standard rejection email: “I'm afraid we've made the tough decision that we won’t be moving forward with your candidacy for this particular role. We'd love to stay in touch as Hologram continues to grow.” I didn't get any specific feedback on why.

Behavioral Technical Case

I applied and after about 2 weeks, someone got in touch to set up interviews. The whole thing took about 2-4 weeks and involved around 4 Zoom calls. First, I chatted with a CS Manager. Then, I had to write a tech essay, basically responding to a CS issue scenario, which was doable if you knew where to look. After that, more interviews were scheduled where I met with 2 engineers and the same CS Manager. They were good about keeping me in the loop on what was next, which I really liked!

The hiring process involved 1 phone call and 5 video interviews, one of which required a slideshow presentation. It took nearly 2 months to complete. My resume was reviewed in detail during each interview. Department heads from other areas also asked questions that were somewhat relevant. Even though I felt I had good chemistry with the interviewers and dedicated significant time and effort, I received a rejection email just two days after the final interview.

Behavioral Technical Case

The interview process was pretty disorganized and communication between stages was lacking sometimes. I went through 5 interviews and the first 15-20 minutes of each felt repetitive. It seemed like their sales team wasn't really talking to each other about my application. Overall, the sales department seemed inexperienced and unorganized. After the 5th interview, they just stopped responding.
