The interview process wasn’t as smooth as it should have been. HR was seemingly unprofessional and you had to take the initiative to have them contact you. The interview went well and was pretty standard and straight forward. Manager seemed like someone who you’d enjoy working for. Overall the company seems very disorganized to say the least.

I got an offer, but it wasn't what I expected. I talked to HR briefly and confirmed my salary was in the expected range even before a phone interview. Then I had a phone interview and two in-person interviews, each an hour long. I really liked the people I met. I was happy to get an offer until I saw it had a week less vacation than we discussed and was for $15k less than I'm currently making. In all three interviews, they asked what I was making and what I wanted, and each time they said it was in line with their expectations. It was definitely a letdown. The most disappointing part was when I told HR it wasn't what I expected, and I didn't get a response. Then I reached out to my main HR contact, and still no response. I'm actually glad they offered $15k less than I was making because the company seems very disorganized.

The interview process has three steps. First, an HR representative will discuss your skills. Then, the Hiring Manager will ask a variety of questions, so be ready for anything. The final interview will be in-person with the Director of Production, who has the final decision. Be prepared to answer all questions. If you lose the Director's interest, it's likely you won't get the job.
