It was an online phone interview with an HR representative based in the US. She started by explaining the role and then asked me about my past experiences. She also inquired about my visa status, but didn't offer much in terms of feedback.

Behavioral

The interview process lasted for two weeks. The first step was an HR round, which was very supportive. My HR rep was welcoming. The on-site interview was pretty chill, but a bit intense since you'll probably meet at least three team members. They mainly want to understand who you are and what you can bring to the company. Just a heads-up, it might be tougher if you're not Indian, as I only saw Indians in Manager, Senior, and Intern roles.

Behavioral Other

It started with a few phone calls talking to HR, business, and legal folks. Then we moved to video Teams meetings, and wrapped up with a final in-person day where I met with several people one-on-one or in small groups. It was mostly about getting to know each other and diving into my past experiences.

Behavioral Technical

It started with a screening call from HR, basically a general chat to get a feel for my background, definitely not technical. Then I had a chat with a US-based R&D Manager. This was a more in-depth conversation about my background, what I'm working on now, my current duties, and what the future role might look like. They also asked some questions directly related to the new role, asking for examples.

  • Can you describe the design control procedure?
  • Have you implemented any process changes in your past projects?
