First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hollister Co..
Sales Assistant
It was a group style interview with 4-5 other people which I didn't realize beforehand. It was very relaxed and casual, conversational, with each of us taking turns to answer. The hiring manager was friendly and welcoming.
- What's your favorite current style trend?
- Can you share an example of dealing with an unhappy customer and ensuring their satisfaction?
Sales Assistant
It was about a half hour interview with a group of people, and we each took turns asking questions. There were about 10 questions, and at the end, the person who got the job would get an email and start onboarding. The people who didn't get the job wouldn't be told anything, which was a bit of a downside from the interviewer's side.
- Can you tell me why you're interested in Hollister?
Sales Representative
The interview process included group panel interviews, one-on-one interviews, background checks, presentations, and phone interviews. They also mentioned drug tests, personality tests, and IQ intelligence/skills tests. They want to know who my ideal candidate is for this role, what the most important aspects of the job are, how they'd measure my success and what I can do to meet expectations, what the biggest learning curve is, how my friends would describe me, what animal I'd be and why, and if I've done anything nice for someone recently.
